Before starting the project, we contacted both the FAI and the IGC directly to clarify whether detailed design or production requirements existed beyond the illustrations shown in the Sporting Code.
The response confirmed an important point: the formal proof of a pilot's achievement is the signed and numbered Diploma issued by the NAC. The badge is the visible emblem of that achievement.
